Why it is what it is

Late last year while surfing the 'net, I came across a term "full-timers" and as I looked into it, my wanderlust kicked in. Living full-time in and RV. Going from place to place blown like a tumbleweed wherever fate, luck, destiny, and faith blow us. I looked at websites, I read adventures. It's winter in Virginia and I dreamed.

So looking led me to RV places. Class A, Class B, Class C Class Dollars!!!!!! Yeah, thats right, these things run into serious dollars sometimes. But we'll keep looking to get ideas and designs and.........

Just in on trade. 2003 Winnebago Vista 21B. And it's less then 100 miles from the house. 24 hours go by. Think........

Then 48 hours........... " I had mentioned it to Donna and then said, "hey, it's not going to hurt to go take a look at it to see what we think"........ In the meantime, I had already contacted the bank to get pre-approved on financing and had the approval letter in my pocket for their asking price. We arrived and this place is huge!!! I'll save that for another post.

A couple of hours later, amidst 100K to 250K rigs, we made an offer after we had walked away, and it was accepted. So here is the first picture of our "careless whimsy"

and yes, that is my 1973 Westfalia Camper in front of it. A great little camper with 67 HP, not much room compared to:

The dreaming and scheming begins. Should we? Can we? Will we? I have to remember that one of the most destructive killer of dreams is the word "BUT" So follow along as I work through what has to be worked through to see if we can break the bonds of self-inflicted conformity.
